Even people who don't like bananas will love this recipe. Delicious served with lashings of butter.
Banana bread
Makes one loaf
135 g butter at room temperature
1 cup of sugar
5 ml vanilla essence
2 eggs
2 cups of cake flour
10 ml baking powder
2,5 salt
4 or 6 ripe bananas
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the vanilla essence. Mix in the eggs one at a time. Sift together the dry ingredients and combine with butter mixture. Mix in the mashed bananas. Pour into a greased bread tin and bake for an hour.
