Cheese and jam cookies

These cookies are slightly sweet yet savoury which makes it very easy to stuff as many as possible in your mouth. They are my sister Melissa's favourite cookies and usually vanish faster than I can get them out of the oven.

Chocolate brownies

These brownies are part of many of my fondest childhood memories. They were the first thing I was allowed to make by myself and I always sold them when my school had a market day. They have been with me through high school, university and I still make them as often as my diet allows.

I love Mexican food and one of the easiest Mexican dishes you can make in almost no time at all is quesadillas. Chicken, cheese, guacamole, what's not to love?

Tomato and basil gnocchi

I have never eaten let alone made gnocchi, but when a recipe promises a delicious meal in twenty minutes I am willing to risk making a total flop for dinner.

I know most people would trade their firstborn child for a piece of chocolate cake, but I am much more partial to a piece of baked cheesecake.
